We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team and work on an exciting project to develop a medical transcription application. This application will leverage open-source technologies and APIs, including Strapi, OpenAI Whisper, and ChatGPT, to provide audio transcription and chart notes generation capabilities. Your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying the backend API, integrating with external APIs, and implementing the necessary functionalities to create an end-to-end application.

Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the team to gather requirements and define the technical specifications of the medical transcription application.
-Design and develop a backend API using Strapi, ensuring efficient and secure data management.
Integrate OpenAI Whisper ASR API to enable accurate audio transcription from audio files and live audio streams.
-Incorporate ChatGPT API for natural language processing tasks, including parsing and extracting information from transcriptions.
-Develop algorithms or templates to generate structured chart notes (SOAP notes) based on the extracted information.
-Implement user authentication and access control mechanisms using Strapi's built-in features.
-Utilize a database system like PostgreSQL or MySQL to store transcriptions, chart notes, and related metadata.
-Handle error handling and logging to ensure robustness and system performance.
-Create comprehensive API documentation using tools like Swagger or Postman.
-Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration of the API with the user interface.
-Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in the field of medical transcription and healthcare technology.
Requirements:
+Certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
+Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on backend development and API integration.
+Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with frameworks like Node.js and Express.js.
+Experience with open-source technologies and APIs, including Strapi, OpenAI Whisper, and ChatGPT, is highly desirable.
+Familiarity with audio processing, speech recognition, and natural language processing concepts and tools.
+Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
