MMIT Mobile -- 4

Job ID: 32200139

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

We currently in the testing phase of a website (meetmeinten.com) which has been repurposed from an old ASP .net site called Greatjob which has a similar function. Essentially, meetmeinten is a whitelabeled website that is configurable for multiple clients. We are currently working with a not-for-profit called Wounded Heroes to help wounded military servicemen meet other servicemen to join in an activity (like tennis, golf, lunch, etc). The idea is to support our wounded heroes to prevent mental health issues. Unfortunately, these groups of individuals are significantly more susceptible to mental health issues than their civilian counterparts. Whilst our current website is functional, we’d like to make it mobile friendly so that if someone is away from a PC, they can use their phone to find a “friend” quickly to participate in an activity. Initially, due to funding constraints, we will start with a mobile friendly website that can detect if the user is using a mobile phone and then display web pages appropriate for that form factor. We have built some template screens and some data flow diagrams.

The site sits on a hosted GoDaddy web host with a Plesk system and the site uses MS SQL Server. The project is to front end the existing website with a simple mobile friendly screen design.

Given this is a re-usable whitelabeled site, developers must ensure that hardcoding is minimised. The current design supports that with sitewide colour schemes, separate "images" folder for all images and significant portions of text on the site is stored in the MS SQL Database and updated via a separate CMS system for easy update.

We are looking for a Fixed Price quote for the work.
