Looking for Wordpress Developer and SEO Expert
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
1. Background and Description
As part of our vision for 2021/2022 we are seeking to improve our main website: https://www.theconfident-k9.com.
The improvements are to include: New hosting, Migration of site to new hosting, Improvements on Security, Speed, Performance and SEO. As part of these improvements we are looking for a new business partner/partners to assist us in our growth.
The site is built using wordpress
2. Scope
The scope of the project is to achieve the following:
- Locate a business partner
- Migrate the site to a new hosting provider
- Improve Page Speed and general performance of the site
- Initiate an SEO audit and work on improvements
- Initiate a UX audit and work on improvements
- Regular maintenance to ensure the security and performance of our site
3. Requirements
As part of our overall strategy we are looking for
- Initial migration and remedial work to be conducted on the site (development and SEO)
- Ongoing support and maintenance plan to ensure plugins and codebase are kept up to date (Development only)
- Ad Hoc support and maintenance for amendments (development and SEO)
- Recommendations for security plugins for the site (currently running wordfence)
- Multi Language capabilities to be added in the future (2022) (not translation, but the ability to create full multi language versions of the site in line with the correct SEO standards for best practice)
- Full versioning and archiving control (Development only)
- SEO Strategy, Recommendations and Implementation
4. Our Infrastructure/Security Requirements
Given the site is built on Wordpress we are looking for a hosting/infra solution that includes the following:
• CI/CD in place with no direct access to the production site CMS
• CDN Provision
• DDOS protection
• High Security
• Site health monitoring
• Static IP
5. Resources required
As the work we require is a combination of both development and SEO we are looking for two people to outsource this work to:
• 1 x SEO Expert
• 1 x Wordpress Developer
Please note that you must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a specialist in your field.
6. Additional Requirements
All interested parties must in the first instance provide the following:
• Costing/SOW for both the work required and ongoing support/maintenance
• Portfolio detailing no less than your 10 most recent projects. These must include a valid URL for verification
• A minimum of 3 Client Testimonials/References gained within the past 12 months
• Copy of your terms and conditions
• Copy of your SLA
• Topology documentation of your preferred infrastructure/hosting solution for our site (for developer only to submit, High Level Topology will suffice)
