Freelance UI/Web Designer
MODE is looking for an experienced and passionate Freelance UI/Web Designer to join an exciting project from October 1 until January 5! As a Freelance UI/Web Designer at MODE, you will be supporting the creative team in designing a branded, digital experience with a mobile-first perspective.

UI/Web Designer responsibilities:
●Minimum 2-3 years experience designing and prototyping in Figma
●Working knowledge of UX best practices, patterns, and requirements
●A strong design portfolio demonstrating knowledge of interaction design, responsive layout, design systems, accessibility, and typesetting
●Knowledge of browser compatibility across multiple platforms and devices
●Craft layouts and content that maximizes calls-to-action, improves stats, and fosters overall success for a website
●Work with the team to understand and adapt a brand for the digital experience
●Lean/iterative mindset; be open to adapting in order to meet customer and business needs process
●Experience working alongside front-end developers
●Good time-management skills and team player
●Experience working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, designers and project managers.
●Provide design/development time estimates and assess technical challenges and/or roadblocks
Job Details:
●Freelance position until approximately January.
●Remote work (Work will be conducted in the Pacific Time zone)
●Payment for this position will range from $85.00 hr-$100.00 hr depending on experience
Physical Requirements:
●Position requires prolonged periods of sitting/ standing
●May involve the need for color vision
●Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions
