Looking for
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We are seeking someone to create a basic-yet-elegant website for an intimate music venue, and need to be able to easily add events on dates on the venue's visible-and-easily-searchable online calendar of events and display info for individual shows (we will want to add the ability for folks to click on a ticketing link to pre-purchase tickets on a 3rd-party ticketing site once said links are generated, but the important thing now is being able to offer a dynamic calendar). Here are the initial main areas of the site to be created:
ABOUT/HISTORY
UPCOMING SHOWS (chronological list where user can click on any show to be taken to the Event Page for that show, and from there click on a third-party ticketing site link)
SEARCHABLE CALENDAR (displayed as Year, Month or Week upon user's preference)
AUDIO/VIDEO (likely won't be too many items here for now, so it would be helpful to be able to "hide" this category until we have a bunch of audio and video files to stream)
MERCHANDISE (see "hide" note for AUDIO/VIDEO above)
SOCIAL (linked to Facebook, etc. pages)
CONTACT
It needs to be easy enough for us to upload images, edit the layout and publish updates without being computer experts (Webflow or similar "plug-and-play" options preferable to brand new HTML and/or other coding; i.e. WordPress will likely require a bit more interaction and upkeep than other options, but we're open to hearing about the ideal method of achieving our goals given the above). We're open to design and site navigation ideas that will keep visiting eyes interested without being overwhelmed with unnecessary "flash" and/or motion. The venue is a creative home for artists and doesn't have deep pockets; that said, someone with the right experience level and both understanding and vision of the end result should be able to bang this out in a small enough amount of time to make our proposed project rate more than reasonable.
NOTE: We are only seeking collaborators who have both the experience and bandwidth to prioritize this project quickly until it's complete (i.e. if you have a bunch of other projects on your plate and would need to "fit this one in", please don't reply).
