The Labeling App is a platform that allows efficient labeling of image datasets by multiple users from a hosted application.
This is akin to creating a web interface that can manipulate the filesystem to reorganize a directory and its folders.
Main Use-Case:
The image datasets will contain several images of people and the labeling work consists of identifying:
- Which images within the dataset are images of the same person
- Demographic markers (e.g. age, gender, race) for each person
To aid with this process, the Lauretta Labeling App utilizes a clustering algorithm to provide an initial filter of which images most similarly resemble a particular ‘Query Image’.
Main Users:
The Labeling App will be primarily used by external third parties from remote locations. The outputs of the labeling work done on the Labeling App will be utilized internally for model training purposes.
