Jitsi Meet UI Customization and Excalidraw Integration
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer to help us customize the user interface (UI) of Jitsi Meet and integrate Excalidraw into the meeting room. The goal is to provide a seamless, enhanced user experience for our online mentorship platform, Apqon Pvt Limited, by offering both video conferencing and collaborative drawing in one interface.
Key Responsibilities:
UI Customization of Jitsi Meet:
Revamp the Jitsi Meet UI to align with our platform’s branding and aesthetics.
Improve the overall user experience by making the interface more intuitive and polished for mentors and mentees.
Ensure that any changes in the UI do not affect the core functionality of Jitsi Meet.
Excalidraw Integration:
Integrate Excalidraw (a collaborative whiteboard tool) into the Jitsi Meet meeting room.
Enable users to easily switch between video conferencing and the Excalidraw whiteboard during meetings.
Allow real-time collaboration on the Excalidraw canvas, with multiple users able to draw, edit, and annotate simultaneously.
Other Planned Features for the Meeting Room:
Scheduling and Calendar Integration:
Add a scheduling feature linked with users' calendars (Google, Outlook, etc.) to book and manage one-on-one mentorship meetings.
Form to Collect Meeting Details:
Implement a pre-meeting form for collecting details such as the meeting agenda, goals, or any required documents from participants.
Manual Meeting Summary & Task Checkpoints:
Include a feature that allows mentors to add a manual meeting summary or agenda at the start and track task progress using checkpoints during the meeting.
Meeting Recording & Storage:
Implement a feature for recording meetings, storing recordings securely, and allowing users to access past meeting recordings.
Document Sharing & Screen Sharing:
Enhance existing document sharing and screen-sharing functionality for smoother interactions.
Chat & Annotations:
Add the ability to annotate shared screens or documents during meetings, along with a persistent chat system for in-meeting communication.
