We are a small group of individuals including veterinarians and medical doctors who are in the middle of establishing an NGO in Romania.
The NGO is focused on creating and implementing projects that are aligned with the concept of one health; ie. human, animal and environmental health are intrinsically interwoven. Our projects are and will be focused upon issues concerning conservation and disease significant to human and animal populations.
Our initial project is focused upon a disease which is prevalent in Romania, a parasitic disease with a life cycle involving dogs and livestock called cystic echinococcosis.
