We’re seeking a talented and creative web developer to help us create a directory website dedicated to supporting female entrepreneurs and their businesses.

About the Project

Our goal is to build a user-friendly and visually appealing website that acts as a directory for female-owned businesses in Northern Virginia (locations to 4expand overtime). The platform will allow users to:

-Browse Listings: Find businesses by category, location, or keywords.
-Search and Filter: Use an intuitive search and filter system to discover local businesses.
-Business Profiles: View detailed profiles, including contact information, services, and customer reviews.
-Submit Listings: Allow business owners to easily add their businesses to the directory.

We envision this website as a valuable resource for the community and a celebration of female entrepreneurship.

What You’ll Be Doing

Designing and developing a responsive and visually appealing website using our logo and branding colors/fonts, etc.
Implementing features like user registration, business submission forms, and a search/filter system.
Setting up and managing a database for storing business information.
Collaborating with us to ensure the website reflects our vision and values.

Skills We’re Looking For

Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (bonus for frameworks like React or Vue.js).
Backend Development: Experience with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), PHP, or other backend technologies.
Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
UI/UX Design: Experience with tools like Figma or Adobe XD is a plus.
Bonus Skills: Knowledge of SEO, WordPress development, or building directory-style websites.

Location: Remote
