I am assisting a friend with creating their first app. They haven't given me a lot of details yet, but did say they would like to have option for monthly subscription, they want to be able to post helpful content for app users and daily reminders to follow certain prompts and "more".
I need to give her info and need your assistance with questions I need to ask to give you a better idea of their app idea. If you have a list of questions or a document I can share with them so they can write out what they want for this app (something easy for them to understand, but that will help them get this idea out their head and on paper to better help me explain it to you, if we work together).
My questions for you are:
1. What type of costs and timeline are we looking at from start to finish? Keep in mind they are new and just want a nice basic app to get them started. So do not want to spend a ton of money on this, but may add as they grow.
2. Can you provide a word document or list of questions I can give to them that can help them organize their thoughts related to this idea. Preliminary questions that are typically asked to get an idea of what app a potential client wants to create. A document that will allow us to get a better idea of the ongoing content she is referring to. Then I can share with you to give us a better idea of cost and completion times
3. Are you able to provide some examples of similar apps (based on what I described so far above)that I can share with her to help her get a better visual of how their app could function and maybe look. Just a few app links that I can share with her for guidance. And will ask her to search as well.
4. What type of category would this app be in once completed? Based off what I have shared so far. We can update this after she answers the questions.
