We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack Web Developer (Front-end and Back-end) to be responsible for the coding and layout of our website. You will also be responsible for managing our blog (WordPress) and hosting. All the content required will be provided by us.
We have a flexible remote work policy in India. Work from the beautiful beaches of Goa or your ancestral village, we are all good as long as you have a good internet connection and stable power supply.
Requirements:
-Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices.
-Create website layout/user interface by using PHP & standard HTML/CSS practices.
-Manage the Website, Blog, LMS, and hosting.
-Create and maintain software documentation.
-Meet regularly with business stakeholders and management to understand and refine business and functional requirements and determine project scopes and specifications.
-Work quickly and carefully to complete small edits, develop plans for completing more prominent projects, and suggest new solutions to improve existing websites.
-Develop or validate testing schedules, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various computers can access content
-Perform regular file backups to local directories for recovery
Requirements and skills
-Proven working experience in web programming of more than 3 years
-Must be proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
-Must have hands-on experience in string core PHP.
-Must have proficiency with content management systems, specifically WordPress
-Expertise in building web applications and APIs
-Should be aggressive in problem diagnosis and creative at problem-solving skills.
-Should have a solid ability in both written and verbal communication in English
-Must have proficiency in MySQL.
-Good to have an excellent knowledge of jQuery, XML, AngularJS and NodeJS.
-Expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS), like moodle, is an advantage.
-Experience in web hosting and server management is an advantage
-Basic knowledge of the Search Engine Optimization process is an advantage
-Should have knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
This role requires mandatory overlap hours with teams in the U.S. from - 8 am - 12 pm PST
