Full Stack Website Expert Required
Budget: £300 – £350 GBP
We are looking for a WordPress Developer to create our new website. You will work with us to select a new WordPress theme that suits our ongoing project. Our sports company will be using the latest data products and technology; the site should be able to sync this data into Excel spreadsheets or similar. We will be transferring this into an app, if you have app experience then this would become a vital part of the consideration.
This website must be of a high standard:
Phase 1/ Landing Page (descriptions, pictures, opening videos and links), About Us, Booking facilities, Contact Us, [Legal blurb and terms and conditions to go in footer]
Phase 2/ Video content, training images, data introduction, and lots of football content.
Phase 3/ Player profiles so they can view the data collected about their training performance [Must be fully encrypted to comply with GDPR regulations], ability to create training plans through the site via possible subscription.
Phase 4/ SEO optimisation, high performance - website should be live for minimum 45 days at this point without any snags or bugs.
Website to be complete with SEO, all legal matters (which is ready to be uploaded) and plugins which will provide excellent customer experience.
Tasks to carry out:
- Create a new theme and add features & pages as requested
- Update images, icons, plans and objectives throughout to be in line with business goals
- Replicate our desired logos, designs and style into a fully functioning website (sample sites available)
- Make recommendations on UX of website to improve user experience and conversions
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in WordPress
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites for desktop, mobile and tablet
- Experience building high-scale websites with the WordPress CMS, including themes, child-themes, plug-in and add-on development
- Proficient in WordPress, CSS 3, HTML 5, JavaScript, jQuery, and WordPress coding best practices
- Experience optimising WordPress sites for speed. Specifically, CWV (Core web vitals), PSI (Page Speed Insights), Lighthouse.
- Experience with editing photos and compressing images.
Other Requirements:
- Be detail-oriented and work quickly to meet deadlines
- Eye for modern design
- Zoom calls/FaceTime/WhatsApp use is required for this position
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills
