Leaderboard Website Requirements
1. Introduction
The purpose of this document is to outline the requirements for a Leaderboard website that allows users to sign up, complete tasks, upload task-related photos, earn points, and participate in a monthly competition. The website will have a user-friendly UI/UX design and functionality to engage users effectively.
2. User Authentication
2.1 Signup
Users should be able to sign up for an account with the following information:
Full Name
City
Email Address
Password
Referral Code (auto-generated)
2.2 Login
Registered users should be able to log in using their email address and password.
3. Task Management
3.1 Task List
The website should display a list of tasks that need to be completed by the users.
Each task should have the following information:
Task Name
Description
Points Allotted
Upload Button (when the task is completed)
Status (Pending/Verified)
3.2 Task Completion
Users should be able to select a task from the list and mark it as completed.
Once a task is completed, an upload button should appear next to the task.
Users should be able to upload a photo related to the completed task.
The task status should change to "Pending" after the photo upload.
3.3 Task Verification
An admin team should have the ability to verify the uploaded task photos.
After verification, the task status should change to "Verified" if the photo is deemed acceptable.
If the photo is not acceptable, the admin team should have the option to reject the task and provide a reason.
4. Leaderboard Dashboard
4.1 Sorting Options
The Leaderboard dashboard should allow users to sort the leaderboard based on the following criteria:
City: Users from the same city will be grouped together.
Overall: Users from all cities will be ranked together. (Default sorting)
Filter : (daily, weekly, monthly)
5. Points and Rewards
5.1 Points Allocation
Each task should have a predefined number of points allotted to it.
After the admin team verifies a completed task, the user should be awarded the allotted points.
5.2 Monthly Winner and Rewards
The system should track the points earned by users on a monthly basis.
At the end of each month, the user with the maximum number of completed tasks and points should be declared the monthly winner.
The monthly winner should be eligible for rewards, which could include prizes, recognition,free trips or other incentives.
6. UI/UX Design
The website should have an intuitive and visually appealing UI/UX design.
The design should be consistent, responsive, and compatible with different devices and screen sizes.
User interactions and flows should be smooth and easy to understand.
7. Additional Features
7.1 Referral Code
During the signup process, a unique referral code should be generated for each user.
Users should have the option to share their referral code with others to encourage new signups.
8. Assumptions and Constraints
The admin team will manually review and verify the uploaded task photos.
The website will not handle financial transactions or sensitive user data.
