We are looking to hire a Fullstack Developer and a Designer team to develop a high-quality website for Buugsoor that can handle over 10,000 books, showcase Somali authors, and provide an interactive user experience for both authors and readers. The team will need to use freelancer platforms such as Upwork or Freelancer to develop the website on an hourly basis.
Project Scope:
1. Website Features:
• High-Quality Design:
• The website must have a professional, modern design that aligns with Buugsoor’s mission to showcase Somali culture and literature.
• The design must be approved by the owner, and revisions should be done until satisfaction.
• Author Profiles:
• Authors must be able to create a profile with the following details:
• Author Name
• Number of Books Written
• Bio (including text and an optional video/picture).
• Blog Section for authors to share their thoughts.
• Book Listings showcasing books written by the author.
• Book Views – Display the number of people who have viewed each book or video profile.
• Book Directory:
• Buugsoor will act as a book directory (not selling books directly), showing where readers can purchase books.
• Book Listings must include:
• Book Name
• Author Name
• Sample (e.g., preview of the book).
• Image of the Book.
• Where the Book Can Be Found (store or link).
• The platform will allow users to search by book name or author name.
• Customer Accounts:
• Customers must create an account before viewing any book details.
• Account creation will require submitting the following:

• City and Country
• Email

• The homepage must be able to display up to 200 books in an organized and user-friendly manner.
