You will be working on highly visible systems and web and mobile applications used by internal and external clients. • 2+ years of relevant in software development, architecture and related technical disciplines.
• Solid hands on C# and ASP.NET development experience.
• Knowledge using modern JavaScript libraries, AJAX, J-Query, and Web Browser technologies, HTML5 and CSS, knockout JS.
• Hands on experience in and knowledge of WCF, MVC, SOAP and RESTful web services (Microsoft Web API).
• Experience working with distributed solutions. Excellent ability to provide architecture guidance to the project team working with all aspects of an application lifecycle - solution architecture, architecture artifacts, high performance design, caching mechanisms, scaling and security.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies, databases and open source software as well as the ability to mentor the team on these technologies. Preferred Microsoft Certified Professional with up-to-date Microsoft stack.
• Mobile development experience preferred.
• Practice standard development process leveraging Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Test Drive Development. Experience with Agile planning tools like JIRA, BitBucket.
• Team player with strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Strong experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Proactive approach to drive creativity and innovation within GPS team.
• Goal-oriented, project-oriented, and achievement-oriented.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
