Front End Developer (Drupal)

"Wondros is seeking a Front-End Developer to work closely with the Design, Project Management, and back-end development teams for the launch and maintenance of a large-scale digital platform. This includes planning and design implementation across a range of digital products including websites, data platforms, mobile apps, email newsletter templates, and potentially emerging technologies. The Front-End Developer is responsible for the implementation of features and design across the entire digital portfolio.
Job Duties & Requirements
Develop design into responsive web interfaces.
Work with team members to drive development of functional desktop/tablet/mobile user interfaces, incorporating input from A/B and usability testing.
Develop functional specifications detailing intended behaviour of ongoing development & engage with stakeholders to define scope for new projects.
Lead web performance activities, analysing performance metrics and carrying out site speed monitoring, load and regression testing during the release process.
Co-own platform user experience, working with team members to plan UX testing of prototypes, developing front-end solutions from concept to wireframe to finished design.
Maintenance and on-going updates to front-end website code.
Experience
Solid UX/Front-end Development experience, specific expertise in Drupal 8 and above.
Proficient in Angular, Angular 7, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Javascript.
Good unit testing skills, attention to detail, self-starter, solid communication skills, especially for escalating items constructively.
Extensive digital experience with a strong digital portfolio.
Experience developing responsive web/mobile user interfaces.
Experience in a development role, either client- or agency-side.
Deep understanding of the principles of responsive design, with solid hands-on experience.
Experience of working in an Agile team, ideally using scrum workflows.
Experience with source code management (e.g. Git, Github).
Experience with issue tracking software (e.g. Wrike, JIRA)."
