Project Title: Expert Usability & Code Review for Secure AI Platform

Project Description:

We are developing innovative platform designed to enable organizations in the private and public sectors to leverage the power of large language models (LLMs) while maintaining strict data privacy and security. The AI program allows customers to process and analyze their sensitive data using various AI models (including options like ChatGPT, Gemini, Llama, Gemma, etc.) within their own private server or private cloud environment, ensuring their data is never directly exposed to external AI providers like Google or Microsoft.

Our target customers include law firms, corporate service providers, police agencies, financial institutions, and any organization handling large volumes of confidential information that could benefit from AI-driven insights, summarization, analysis, and workflow automation.

The platform is currently two months into development. We have a foundational codebase and a preliminary Graphical User Interface (GUI). Before proceeding further and investing more development resources, we need an independent expert review to ensure we are building a product that is not only technically sound but also highly usable, intuitive, and valuable for our target end-users (who may not all be highly technical).

Scope of Work:

We are seeking an experienced software consultant/developer with strong UI/UX and usability expertise to perform a comprehensive review of AI's current state. The key objectives are:

Code Review:

Analyze the existing codebase (Backend & Frontend - [Optional: Specify languages/frameworks here if known, e.g., Python, React, Node.js]) for structure, clarity, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Identify potential technical roadblocks, scalability concerns, or areas for architectural improvement.
Provide high-level feedback on security considerations relevant to a private deployment model (Note: This is not a full security audit, but observations are welcome).
UI/GUI & Usability Review:

Evaluate the current user interface design for clarity, consistency, and ease of navigation.
Assess the overall user experience (UX) and workflow for core tasks (e.g., data upload, model selection, query input, results review).
Determine how intuitive the software is likely to be for our target non-technical/semi-technical users in legal, corporate, and public safety sectors.
Test responsiveness and identify any immediate usability hurdles or confusing elements.
Recommendations & Reporting:

Deliver a comprehensive report detailing findings from both the code and usability reviews.
Provide specific, actionable, and prioritized recommendations for improvements in:
Code structure and quality.
UI design and layout.
User workflow and overall usability.
Features or adjustments that would enhance user adoption and perceived value.
Offer suggestions on how to make the platform easier to demonstrate and sell to potential clients.
Comment on the potential and necessary adjustments needed to create a limited, secure, but effective public-facing demo version based on the current architecture.
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in software development (please specify relevant languages/frameworks in your application).
Strong understanding and practical experience in UI/UX design principles and best practices.
Demonstrated experience conducting usability reviews and providing actionable feedback.
Experience developing or reviewing applications designed for enterprise or professional users.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear and concise technical writing and communication skills (English).
Highly Desirable:
Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts and applications.
Experience with software designed for secure environments or handling sensitive data.
Experience working with or developing for legal, corporate, or government sectors.

Access to a running instance or build of the software for testing.
Any existing documentation (design docs, user stories, etc. - mention what you have).
Brief virtual meetings with our development team to answer questions and provide context.
Deliverable:

A detailed written report outlining findings, analysis, and prioritized recommendations as described in the Scope of Work.

Timeline & Budget:
