Engaging Wix/Wordpress Informational Website
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
I am looking for an experienced freelancer skilled in Wix and WordPress for the creation of a website. The primary purpose of the website is to serve as an informational tool for our organisation presenting viewers with detailed information about our aims in an engaging, accessible manner. Its secondary purpose is to act as a portal for member communication and engagement through the use of an easy to use online forum which allows easy sharing of images and text in both the mobile and desktop environment .
The existing website is written in Drupal 6 and we are looking to migrate all member data and forum contents to the new site if possible . The site can be accessed at www.equineophtho.org.uk
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proficiency in Wix and WordPress development
- Experience in designing informational websites
- Strong understanding of UI and UX
- be responsive to queries and be prepared to offer long term maintenance and support .
The website I envisage should include the following sections:
- Home: A welcoming landing page that introduces our company and mission
- About Us: A comprehensive look at our history, team, and goals
- Contact: A page to facilitate efficient communication with us
- membership: application process and links to
- FAQ: Answers to frequent queries about our company and services
- Forum: A platform for discussion and queries
- Members directory: A section to highlight our members
-symposia - member only access to links to proceedings from previous symposia plus free access to information about upcoming symposia .
- research - information page re ongoing projects and grants
Optimising the site for mobile , desktop and the Wix spaces app or similar essential .
