Dynamic Event Kiosk Web Application UI Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm seeking seeking creative design concepts for a real-time event kiosk. This centralized digital platform will help users discover, sign up, and track events with a focus on an intuitive and dynamic UI incorporating Material 3 design elements (such as buttons and icons), and Bento Box UI design elements
Colour scheme: Cosmic theme, Purple, Black, Blue, White, and Beige (but open to any nice theme)
Key features and requirements:
• Intuitive, modern, dynamic interface with seamless animations
• Home/Landing section and an events section showcasing real-time events
• Each event will include details like event title, date, time, location, participant limit (for select events), and price (for select events). When a user hovers on an event, a brief description appears. On click, a pop-up will display with a map (showing the event location) and the choice to sign up via a QR code or email address.
• Payment functionality: For paid events, users can pay via third-party gateways on the kiosk or on their phone via a QR code, followed by a confirmation screen with animated fireworks (applies to both paid and free events).
• Filtering options for events allowing users to filter by event type, price (free or paid), and date
• User account section for signing up or logging in, viewing past/upcoming events, possibly dynamic countdown to event, as well as a leaderboard/collectible area
• Consideration between having a guest/login screen before the landing page versus an integrated account icon on the landing page
• Innovative element: AI chatbot with potential speech-to-text integration
• Option for an admin system where event organizers can post event information
• Idle screen animation with "touch to begin" for when kiosk is not in use
Also this isn't a usual web application that takes users to multiple pages. This is a kiosk web application where everything is on one centralised "page" e.g when user clicks "login" a pop up would show on the kiosk, instead of taking them to a separate page to login. I hope this makes sense.
I have uploaded images and low fidelity sketches for some of the features for inspiration in the INSPO FOR KIOSK document below. The sketches are not to scale. I'm still not sure where the navigation bar should be on the kiosk; whether above or all below.
I have also uploaded a REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATION of the web application for your own reference. Read it to get an idea of what this system is about and its core features.
