Development of a Word Press property website

Job ID: 34264190

Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP

Nature of business

It's a niche property concierge service for homeowners, landlords and tenants to find good quality tradespeople with associated services to added too (mortgages, conveyancing, removals etc). It will adopt a more selective approach with the focus being on quality and not quantity, targeting the medium to high end of the market. Example competitors include Checkatrade and Mybuilder which I see as being positioned different as they will take any tradesman provided, they are prepared to pay their charges be it for advertising, leads etc.

Also considering a page explaining the process if an end user books through me.

Partner services (where agreements will be put in place to obtain referral fees likely further down the line).

Trade Profiles x 15 (example below), the verification aspect is very important in terms of ID, address check, if they have business insurance etc. I want the profiles to include similar information with amended names, headers so the platform has it's own identity and feel. Also important is them being able to upload their portfolio of work pictures, which will occasionally include videos. This could sit on the platform or perhaps be linked to Instagram or another social media platform i.e. Pinterest.

I would also like to add a price per hour / daily rate from field

Also, a value of projects to date field

In addition, I would like it to include a Q&A feature as a link to blog that opens up a separate page for that tradesman and within their specialist area. The idea being to get the end user to thinking about some of the things to consider before hiring the tradesman to aid for better planning and so they are better informed.

I also want an off-script feature for each trade profile as a written transcript i.e. questions and answers which will be personal questions so the end user can get to know the person behind the trade and whether they would be a suitable fit.

After careful consideration and feedback from several end users I've decided against it being played as an audio as it's a double-edged sword and might put the end user off from considering the tradesman due to how they sound or come across. At least if they meet them in person to look at the job. They can break down these barriers through their knowledge and expertise of there on job experience. So a written transcript is my compromise it wouldn't bother me but might someone else.

I'd also like to have a review functionality for each tradesman categories to include workmanship, timekeeping, tidiness, courtesy out of 10 + overall but comments in terms of review of the tradesman is separate and goes through my platform be it google reviews, Trustapilot reviews etc. I didn't want to do it but reviews greatly aid a company's credibility so I do need to capture it in some form.

I'd like each web page to include a banner header for ad revenue once I start getting significant traffic. My preference would be for this to automatically be incorporated when a new page added/generated, most likely new trade profiles to be added as I grow.

In relation to the banner adverts initially I see it as follows:

All trades profiles will have my company name, tag line and logo which will later change to be replaced by suitable companies to generate ad revenue once I get a good level of traffic to the website.

The other pages notably the Home page, About us, contact us, FAQ's, blog, partner services page I'd like to include partner banners for ad / affiliate revenue from the outset (i'm currently working on this). However, I may have wait meaning a banner with company name, logo & tag line in the interim period.
