Design and build a one-page website for an online event
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Design and build a simple webpage for an online event using Bootstrap 5. No server side scripting, no databases.
The page should be as lightweight as possible.
Elements:
Navigation bar with Logo and 'register'
Event logo/title
social sharing buttons
Ticker tape: 1 line of text with last minute updates. Should be loaded from remote server (one update per 60 seconds is enough). Should not scroll. Should be displayed only when not empty.
And in one row: Speaker list, Vimeo video player (embed) and Slido (embed).
The site should be responsive. The video player should always be as large as possible. For tablets and desktops with > 1023 pixels, all these items should be on one row. For smaller devices, the slido embed should move to the next row, under the video player.
Please see the attached image (from the slido.com website) - apart from the actual titles, and the absence of the tickerttape, this is exactly what we want. Of course, It will be for a different event.
We will supply the Vimeo live player and slido iframe to be embedded.
The code should be clear and easy to adjust by ourselves.
There should be a single variable for setting the text and button colors.
There should be a single variable for setting the font and background colors for the navigation bar
