Debug and test a website
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
This WIX website is brand new and I’d like it to go live in the next few weeks in January.
It is a relaxation therapy website that offers services (live online via calendar booking, MP3 streaming, and membership).
Some important features are still faulty and need fixing. The team I was working with wasn’t as responsive and accurate as I need, and left me having to correct a lot of things myself, which I wasn’t happy with.
Summary of work to be completed:
Part of my e-commerce offer is to sell streaming of MP3s for a fee and for a limited time. These MP3s should be accessible for 24 hours only and then stop being accessible.
What happens at the moment: Once purchased, an automated email is sent to the client at midnight (no matter when the MP3 was purchased) to say that the programme is no longer available - but when you go into it and click on stream, it remains available - weeks later. This job is the priority.
It doesn't look like proper testing was done – this needs to be done systematically as I have found a number of broken links/things not working/incoherent.
There are other bugs to fix and some content that need to be added by someone with an eye for detail, and experience in testing and fixing bugs.
Touch-ups to the design layout to maximise visual impact are welcome. I will also need SEO for the website once it’s ready to launch.
