Create simple Artist Website
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a simple website for my startup hand-painted photography art business. I want to promote my artwork for sale to corporate, residential, medical, hospitality and other industries. I am looking for a simple, clean and striking website to highlight my art pieces and show them in different settings. I would like to use a Wix (or similar) template that integrates a Print-On-Demand service. I would like to start with a few pages:
1. Homepage: clean landing page with striking images and menu, and categories of artwork, which link to:
2. Page with individual images with size, printing and pricing options
3. About page: clean simple page with brief writeup of me and a picture of me painting, and a contact link.
Here are a few sites I like and why:
1. Stacey Bodnaruk https://www.artography27.com/ (I love the overall layout and crispness of this site, and how it shows the artwork in different spaces, and how on this page https://www.artography27.com/mountain-collection it shows different sizes of artwork and the costs). I believe this site was built in Wix and integrates a print-on-demand service.
2. Jonah Allen https://www.jonahallen.com/in-homes (I love the crispness of the site and how this page https://www.jonahallen.com/in-homes shows the artwork in homes around the world.)
3. Ordering page from Time After Time (https://www.markhersch.com/warehouse/art_print_products/graham-and-morton-line-docks-at-night?product_gallery=58430&product_id=5603285) - I like how you can select different print options with prices and sizes.
4. Samatha Kaplan (https://www.samanthakaplanart.com/home): On the homepage, I like how this website shows the artwork on a wall in a room (I would like this as well, showing my artwork in different locations: in a medical waiting room, offices, hotel lobby, high end restaurants, etc. Also on the homepage under Shop Art, I like how there are categories. Mine will have three only: Florals, Landscapes, Oceanscapes. Once you click on a category and an individual art piece, I like the options on how to order: dropsdowns for different sizes, different materials (canvas, metal or fine art paper), and matting options, and another dropdown for Full Specifications.
