Dear Freelancers,
I’m seeking an experienced Shopify expert to help me create a professional e-commerce store and a complementary directory website. The aim is to establish an integrated system where the directory drives traffic to the Shopify store while also enabling additional revenue opportunities.
For the Shopify store, I need a customized theme that reflects my brand, OmegaVision, and ensures a responsive, mobile-friendly design. The homepage should feature key products and build trust with potential customers, while the product pages should include a quality badge system to highlight top-performing items. Initially, I’d like to upload 50 products, optimized with SEO-friendly descriptions, pricing, and images. Payment gateways and shipping configurations should be set up to align with my business needs, and key integrations such as email marketing tools, product review apps, and Zendrop for fulfillment are essential. I also want the store optimized for SEO and analytics, with tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel to track performance. Before launching, I’d like the entire store tested for responsiveness, functionality, and speed.
The directory website, tentatively called OmegaDirectory, should work in harmony with the Shopify store. It will serve as a traffic driver, showcasing the same 50 products with detailed descriptions and direct links to the store. The homepage should feature a compelling hero section, intuitive navigation, and a search bar for easy browsing. SEO optimization and fast loading speeds are critical for driving organic traffic, while clear call-to-actions like “Shop Now” should seamlessly link back to the Shopify store. Looking ahead, I’d like the directory to support monetization features such as sponsored listings, affiliate programs, and third-party ads, with the potential to integrate these over time.
I’m also interested in offering paid subscription plans for businesses to create profiles on the directory with premium options for greater visibility, analytics, and lead generation tools.
I’d like to include a blog or content section where businesses can pay to publish sponsored posts or guides.
I’m looking for someone with proven experience building Shopify stores and directory websites who can deliver a user-friendly, high-quality setup while offering creative suggestions to enhance the project. If some of these things require more websites then suggest it for smoother operation as I'm looking to expand upon many things when more funding comes.

The initial focus is on creating a Shopify store and a directory website to drive traffic and revenue to it amongst other things the site (or sites) is capable but these are just the starting points. I also have three additional WordPress websites for future use. Each with the potential to be developed into integral parts of a larger, interconnected platform that uses different sets of tools for a similar effect but with far broader goals. The long-term goal is to expand these elements into a comprehensive project that will include additional features and innovations, ultimately positioning the platform to secure grant funding for broader impact and sustainability. By collaborating on this initial phase, you’ll play a key role in laying the foundation for something far-reaching and transformative.
