Community Market Mobile App Development

We are developing a community-based market place mobile application exclusively for the relevant industry employees. This platform will enable employees to buy and sell new or used products, offer approved services, and manage payments securely.
The platform will support two types of transactions:
**Some products/services with payment and fulfillment handled through the app.
**Other products/services where the app connects the buyer and seller, but the transaction happens externally.
We are seeking an experienced freelance developer or development agency to deliver:
- A fully functional, production-ready mobile app (iOS + Android)
- Complete user story development (with acceptance criteria, edge cases, error boundaries, and gap analysis)
- Integration with authorized Egyptian payment gateways
- A robust admin dashboard with moderation and control tools.

You, the freelancer, will be responsible for:
Translating these requirements into a comprehensive set of:
User stories
Use cases
Acceptance criteria
Edge cases
Error handling scenarios
Identifying and documenting any gap cases or missing flows
This is critical so the final product meets real-world operational standards and delivers an excellent user experience.
**Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze provided business requirements and develop full user stories and system flows.
• Design and develop the mobile app for iOS and Android with scalable, secure architecture.
• Build:
• Buyer interface (search, wishlist, cart, checkout, loyalty, notifications)
• Seller interface (list products, manage inventory, respond to inquiries, track orders)
• Admin dashboard (approve listings, moderate disputes, manage platform settings)
• Implement strong security practices (role-based access, data encryption, multi-factor authentication).
• Provide robust QA, testing, and documentation.
• Offer ongoing support post-launch (optional/negotiable).
• Develop and implement the full-stack architecture for a scalable and high-performance website.
• Utilize modern front-end frameworks (React / Vue / Next.js) for a seamless user interface.
• Choose the appropriate back-end technology (Node.js / Django / Laravel) to manage the database and API structure.
• Develop a personalized product recommendation system based on user preferences.
• Implement advanced filtering options (style, color, season, etc.).
• Ensure real-time inventory updates, reflecting product availability dynamically.
• Create a backend dashboard for order processing and tracking.
• Support multiple shipping & return methods (home delivery, in-store pickup, etc.).
• Generate prepaid return labels and integrate tracking notifications.
• Develop a personalized user dashboard with order history, community type status, and preferences.
• Enable users to save favorite items and access purchase/rental history.
• Implement social engagement features such as user-generated content, reviews, and image uploads.
• Ensure SEO-friendly architecture for organic search visibility.
• Optimize site speed and responsiveness for mobile and desktop users.
• Implement SSL encryption & secure payment processing.
• Ensure GDPR / CCPA compliance for data protection and privacy.
Required Skills & Expertise:
• 5+ years of mobile app development experience (React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android).
• Strong e-commerce or marketplace platform development expertise.
• Expertise in backend systems (Node.js, Django, Laravel, etc.) and API development.
• Proven experience writing comprehensive user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of secure data handling, encryption, and local regulatory compliance.
• Strong UI/UX design sensibility or ability to collaborate with a UX designer.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React / Vue).
• Strong back-end development skills (Node.js / Python / PHP).
• Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms, preferably with subscription-based models.
