E-Commerce Web Design for Physical Products
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'm looking for a skilled web designer with extensive experience in creating e-commerce sites, particularly for selling physical products. We currently have a store that uses a bigcommerce template and hosting but it is outdated and in need of custom features
Key Features:
- A user-friendly shopping cart: This is crucial for smooth transactions and an overall pleasant shopping experience. Shopping cart must calculate shipping for multiple items and large orders. We do ship freight in some cases and a perfect solution would incorporate that option.
- Product reviews: I want to incorporate a product review system, as it's essential for building trust with my customers and encouraging engagement. We currently use ravecapture but would like to avoid the monthly cost and incorporate directly into the site. We have a significant amount of reviews that can be added to the new site.
- User accounts: This will be a critical feature for customer retention and personalized shopping experiences. We have just over 1000 registered customers. Would like to implement customer loyalty program/features
- Pay Later Options: Must have an integrated 'Pay Later' feature. A good understanding of payment gateways and financing options is needed. The payment options should be on the product page, not require the customer to go through checkout to see them.
- Advanced Search Filters: Implement advanced filtering options to help customers find products quickly and easily. We currently pay for doo finder because the big commerce search tool is terrible. This is one major reason for redesign.
- Wishlist Functionality: Allow users to save products for later in a wishlist, enhancing user experience and encouraging repeat visits.
- A recent marketing report (attached) shows some of our focus areas.
- Ease of adding products is a must have.
Preferred Platform: I'm flexible when it comes to the platform. I value quality design and seamless functionality over a specific platform preference.
