Car Viewing & Updates Website Designer
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Hello,
I’m looking for a talented designer to help revamp the website, https://www.carglimpses.com. I am a web developer and content creator, and while I’ve built the site myself, it’s in need of a fresh design. I’m seeking someone who can:
Create a new design for the site while keeping most of the existing structure. Some elements may be repositioned, and I’ll provide specific guidance on that.
Develop the HTML and CSS for the site using only pure HTML5 and CSS3 (no frameworks like Bootstrap). I’ll integrate the design into the website myself. Please use FontAwesome (free version) for icons.
Provide two themes: one with a white background and another with a black background.
Ensure a responsive design from the start.
The website is a blog focused on the automotive industry, and it will also feature a competition page, which I’ll share with you once we finalize the contract.
Design Requirements:
The design should be clean, minimalist, and modern, in line with the new logo we’re working on (attached for reference). The brand name should use the Russo One font, but the body text font is up to you. Please ensure the design colors align with the logo.
All pages need to be designed, including the following key ones:
Top menu: The social media icons should always be visible (even in responsive mode), and the categories (Blog, News, Buying Guide) should remain visible on mobile, too. The brand name could be hidden in responsive mode, but I’m open to your ideas. In responsive view, the “Events” and “Buy and Win” sections should be distinguishable as icons, separate from the categories.
Blog page: Displays a list of articles.
Article page: This layout applies across all categories (Blog, News, Buying Guide, Events, and Competitions).
Competition page: Similar layout to the blog page (I’ll provide more details once we connect).
Account pages: These are simple user account management pages (changing details, password reset, list of competitions the user is registered for).
Side pages: Password recovery, account validation.
Login and sign-up pages.
Terms and conditions pages: Simple, clean layout.
Additionally, there’s a carousel at the top of the page displaying the latest news and upcoming events, along with an ad and a call-to-action for joining free competitions. We need to find a way to display all of this in an appealing, organized manner. I’ll share more details on this once it’s deployed.
Next Steps:
If you’re interested in this project, please submit a small design proposal so I can get a sense of your style. If I like what I see, we’ll proceed with further discussions and I’ll provide you with more specifics on the design. Please note that your proposal is essential for me to gauge your approach, so applications without a draft will not be considered.
Looking forward to seeing your ideas!
