I'm looking to develop an Car Rental Booking Website.
1. REQUIREMENT & STANDARD WEB BOOKING POLICY
- Search Form
- Default Minimum rental is 2 days; However, Admin can also set minimum Rental Days for specific date - festival / season.
- Set Booking Deposit, can be edited later
o RM50 for sedan n compact car.
o RM100 for MPV, Van and 4X4
- For any booking less than 72 hours, the system will prompt user to contact admin MRR
- Discount by percentage (6%, 10% and soon on)
- Cancelation - Burn Deposit or any rules, can state it in page term and conditions
- Pickup / Return Location:
- Extra charges for extended hours, 10% of daily rate per hour. More than 6 hrs, consider full day.
- Extra charges for pickup / return outside city/location. Inform customer, need to pay there
- Add-on charge, ex: child seat
- Customer can’t make a booking if there is no available car.
- Page – Car List
- Send email upon successful booking
- Block date

- Set Addon with price. Price set per daily
- Set car type / model
- Set pickup/return locations
- Set min rental day. system default is 2 Day
- Set normal & peak price
- Manage received booking
- View Guests List
- Print confirmed booking
- Manage company profile.
USER / CUSTOMER
- No login required
- Make a booking & deposit
- Get booking details, for reference / print
- Car list page
- Others page: About, T&C, How to Book, Payment, Review, Gallery, Contact us
3. BOOKING PROCESS
- Customers search
- System show Listing
- Customers select available car
- Customers choose to add on
- Customers fill in details
- Customers proceeds with payment
- System show confirmation booking
