We are an estate and business liquidation company seeking to elevate our online presence. Our existing website is old and outdated, and we're looking for a talented, multi-skilled professional who can give it a fresh more modern look. If you are skilled at creating clean design, seamless user experiences, and efficient code, this is a good role for you.
Project Overview: We are a newer company and our current website has served us well, but it needs to be reorganized and updated to remain competitive and deliver a better user experience. We require a professional who can assess its current state and implement strategic design improvements and web development solutions.
Our target audience is varied: Older folks who are downsizing and looking to transition into assisted living, people who have elderly parents and are helping them transition, people who just inherited property, and business owners.
This role will begin with the tasks listed here, but with the right candidate is intended to be ongoing. We are looking for someone who can become a regular part of our team to be called upon occasionally as needed to make updates and changes. The project fee covers just the initial work described here, and future updates and work will be under a new payment structure.
Changes we are looking to make:
-Improve user experience and make it more streamlined
-Redo visual aesthetic and make the site more modern and sophisticated so as to create a more serious brand identity.
-Refining back-end functionality to support improved site operations
-Integrate modern design principles and industry-standard practices
-Set up contact form so keywords prevent spam messages from being sent
-Embed videos to autoplay
Candidate must:
-Be skilled in web design and development with proven past work
-Know how to get websites to rank on google SEO
-Must know how to get video embedded into website and autoplay
-Be open to long term work and can be called upon for updates when needed
