Building a travel website
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m looking to create a website like trivago.com.
I am creating a niche hotel only (for now) travel search aggregator.
A customer comes to our website, enters their destination, travel dates, etc.
The website then searches multiple booking sites and presents a list of hotels from our curated list. (The search should only show hotels we “approve” and have added. For example, Los Angeles has 1,000+ hotels available but our curated list will only show 50.)
The results will display a list of matches. Displaying the hotel name, picture, distance from the users search location, reviews, a drop down for more information about he hotel & several prices from the multiple booking sites. When the user clicks on the price they will be taken to that booking site (via affiliate api link) to complete the booking.
For example, the user wishes to book the Hyatt Regency LAX, they choose the booking.com deal and are redirected to the booking.com website (via affiliate link) to complete the booking.
What we need from the website:
Mobile first
A system that allows us to add the hotels manually to our search.
The ability to embed reviews from google, hotels .com or Expedia as like trivago.
The ability to add our own section of data under the reviews portion. (The data is collected by us)
