Build a website to take bookings and handle payment
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 NZD
We are looking for someone to build a website to take bookings and schedule recurring appointments with clients.
The website will be used as a booking system for users to book appointments to attend seminars. We would need for users to supply login details, find available dates in the calendar, book and pay for an appointment online via credit card or via bank transfer, the bank transfer would put the booking into a pending stage whilst we await for payment via bank transfer. Payments via bank transfer would not be available if the booking was too close to the appointment date (i.e 1-2 days prior to the appointment). Payment would ideally need to be integrated with Xero accounting if possible, and would definitely influence your proposal, however this is not necessary.
The client and our business would then get back confirmation of the booking via email and confirmation of payment.
There will be other pages on the website like info about our organisation, contact details, previous work, current work...etc.
PLEASE supply a brief outline of what and how you would develop this. Basic info like language, backend, payment gateway/system...etc. No more than a few sentences, as this would be fleshed out by the successful bid. Also, how you intend for us to continue to manage this once handed over.
All logos and colours are still to be confirmed and will be available later into the project.

Our preference would be C# Asp.Net using an Azure backend, however we would be open to other suggestions as long as the CMS would be manageable, and we could hand it over to dummies to take over, update...etc, as the long term goal would be to hand the responsibility of updating, checking payments...etc to someone in an admin position.
