I tried to set-up a website as a marketplace using the Dokan plugin of Wordpress. That did not work for me. The Dokan plugin turned out to have lots of bugs and fixing it by two different tech expert could not be achieved.
All issues surfaced when upgrading from professional to business to add the geolocation module.
Dokan works by, basically turning Woocommerce plugin into a marketplace by allowing third party vendors to sign up on a platform (just like ebay) and sell their own products. I need something exactely like this. I run a platform as the admin and have third party vendors signing up and selling coupons. Need a calendar to pick dates and so on. I would start from wordpress woocommerce just like Dokan. Yet other solutions are welcome.
I accept 3 different solutions:
1) trying to fix Dokan plugin (this would be third attempt)
2) build a Dokan style plugin with custom standalone code
3) build the whole platform with custom code at a reasonable price.
