One Gospel
A Chronology of the Gospel Narratives
One Gospel will be an integration of the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). This book is a chronology of the Gospel narratives in one complete book. The initial book will have an NIV version and also a KJV version. There will be a few pages on this website, but the book webpage is the most important.
Book Webpage
On the specific webpage where the user can view the book, here are the requirements:
The user should be able to select which version of the book to display, NIV or KJV (default to KJV).
The user should be able to select which chapter to view (up to 58 chapters, default to chapter 1).
I can provide 58 html files per version, one file per chapter per version, with filenames that indicate the version and chapter.
Based on the Version and Chapter chosen by the user, display that particular chapter on the screen (importing the local HTML file by the corresponding filename). There may obviously be a better way to do this, so I am open to whatever works.
When viewing a chapter on the screen, the user should be able to go to the previous or next chapter. In order to do that, the top and/or bottom of each chapter should have the following links:
<<Prev Next>>
I would like to use WIX, but it appears that WIX does not allow users to upload HTM files into their Site Files folders (or subfolders). I have another website provider that I can use other than WIX if there is no WIX solution. I wonder if using the WIX Content Manager (Database) would provide the solution.
I ultimately want the pages of the book t be in text (HTML) format. This would allow the user to CNTRL+/- to adjust the font size (or to pinch if using a mobile phone). I would prefer not using PDF to display the book. Wordpress would be an option if that is the only way to go.
Spreadsheet webpages
There will be two webpages that will contain information from spreadsheets. I would prefer that this information not be displayed in PDF format, but in HTML format instead.
