Hiring: BigCommerce Assistant & Web Customization Specialist (Freelance)
Remote | Flexible Hours | Project-Based
We are in the final stretch of launching a new BigCommerce website and are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented freelance assistant to work directly with me, the owner, to polish and fine-tune the site before going live.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll serve as my right-hand assistant, jumping in on a variety of tasks
Including:
Final design tweaks and UI adjustments in BigCommerce
Splash page creation and layout updates via Page Builder
Plugin installations and setup
Data entry, product editing, and data merging from Etsy imports
Graphic and banner creation (via AI or Canva Pro)
Helping manage multichannel tools like LitCommerce, GetVela, and Evlista
Light custom coding and HTML/CSS adjustments when plugins fall short
Assisting with integrations across Zapier, Brevo, DaVinci Resolve, Camtasia, and more
Must-Have Skills
Expertise in BigCommerce (Design, Page Builder, Product Management)
(I'd like to see any examples you have of designing BigCommerce websites you may be able to share)
Familiarity with LitCommerce and multichannel listing tools
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for web customization
Strong eye for design, layout, and usability
Comfortable working collaboratively and adjusting to evolving project needs
Self-starter with excellent communication and follow-through

Canva Pro, Camtasia, DaVinci Resolve
Zapier, Brevo

I'll obviously be looking for the best quotes possible whether it be on a job by job basis (something we could discuss) and will measure them against your proof of experience.
NOTE: I was formerly a Project Manager and hired from Freelancer and other freelancer sites regularly; however, this is not a customer's website but rather my own so I'm going to be particular about its design. I'm always very upfront with what I would like done in the help requested, you could provide a quote on a job by job basis as we discuss these projects, I will post all funds to a broker, but nothing will be released until each job is completed as agreed between us.
