IP Auxiliary - Website/Software database -- 2
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Building a website and software for database management of patents and trademark renewals. Examples from similar websites are in the pictures, but end product should be a beautifully designed website. Software/website would need to be able to check status of related patents and trademarks by integrating with the US patent office (along with a few dozen other websites from various countries, see a few examples in the below list) through a REST API or similar API thru US patent office (along with a few dozen other websites from various countries) provide from your recommendation. Each patent/trademark should be able to access history of past records (again through the US Patent Office and a few dozen other websites from various countries interface either REST API or similar API available).
Purpose of the API will be to retrieve basic info from the website (i.e., Inventor name, application number, filing date, title, applicant, registration number, registration date, etc.), which would be able to cross reference it from a provided spreadsheet to ensure the information are correct. In addition, the API would help show the status of the corresponding countries of that specific patent or trademark in such a way that you would be able to see the status (i.e. abandoned, renewed, etc.) of the corresponding countries where the patent/trademark was filed in. This would in turn help a person determine and see fully which countries their patent/trademark is protected and to further help guide their decision based on a simple cursory look through this software.

The website should at least have two tabs (1) Patents (2) Trademarks. The website/database should be able to operate in two views, client view (from attached pictures) and master view (where only the administrator can access), and that the master view can edit the data via MS Excel spreadsheet that would be shown in the client view. Will also need an ability for User to upload an Excel file with patent/trademark information which will be read and store in our database in such a way that it allows us to query and filter the patent and trademark data to display to the User. This data once uploaded, should also be able to be edited at any time.
As seen in the picture examples, the website/software should be able to project estimated costs and buttons to either "Pay", "Abandon", or "Other". The estimated costs will vary for every item, but will most likely be calculated by actual fee from country + our rate. Perhaps if there is a MS Excel spreadsheet that I can upload or internal set up where I can enter in the actual fee from country and then our rate. The fees varies due to country and the year it was patented, so will need something that would calculate the estimated costs for all items if I am able to upload or input a table of sorts (i.e., if software determined patent is from Europe + year 2, it would for example go to spreadsheet or something and auto calculate the data I provided in MS Excel spreadsheet, Europe is A1 and year 2 is B1, then my rate is C1, it would auto calculate it as =A1+B1+C1 as estimated costs.
The end result should be able to produce contents similar to those in the example pictures, along with a way to easily edit the data as needed.
