Author's Website Development
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 CAD
I'm in need of a professional web developer to create an engaging, user-friendly website for promoting my book, author persona, and speaking career. The site should include:
- A Speaking Engagement Booking Form: This needs to be a simple, straightforward form that allows event organizers to easily get in touch for booking.
- A Book Sales Page: This will need to be designed to promote and sell my book.
- An Author Biography Section: I want this section to effectively tell my story and connect with my audience.
- A Licensed Material Section: This will be a tiered model, offering licensed material to support the ideas in my book.
- Access to Video Teaching Materials (later): This will be a section for users to access various video teaching materials that align with my book's content once they had decided to purchase a tier of the materials.
- Blog page.
- Potential for Future Customer Login: While not essential at launch, I want the site to have the potential for a customer login feature down the line.
- SEO to bring searchers to the site.
- using a CMM so that I can add content on my own (I'm technical - but not a web developer).
- I already own the domain and will purchase a hosting plan. Will provide access to build/develop the initial site/content where I have chosen to host (Godaddy).
The ideal candidate will have plenty of experience in website development and SEO, with a strong portfolio of author or speaker websites. Understanding of tiered pricing models and video integration is a plus. Please provide examples of your previous work that align with this project.
