Windows Virtual Meeting Workplace

I’m planning to roll out a slim, self-hosted “Zoom workplace” that concentrates on one thing only: smooth virtual meetings for our Windows users. The core requirement is rock-solid screen-sharing—participants must be able to start a session, pick any monitor or application window, and broadcast it without lag or loss of quality. Chat or recording might be nice to have later, but for this first milestone I’m keeping the scope tight so that performance and stability get the full attention.

• Native Windows compatibility (Windows 10 and 11) with an installer or portable build that everyday staff can launch without admin rights.
• Secure video + audio conferencing that scales from a quick one-on-one to a small team huddle.

Acceptance criteria
1. I can host a meeting on a fresh Windows machine and have another user join in under one minute.
2. Screen sharing streams at 30 fps or better on a 1080p display with no more than 200 ms added latency on a standard office network.
3. The executable passes Windows Defender SmartScreen without flags and does not require additional runtime installs.
