Secure Self-Hosted PlugNMeet

Job ID: 40052582

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a clean, production-ready deployment of PlugNMeet on a fresh Ubuntu server. The machine is already provisioned; what’s missing is the full install, security hardening, and a quick validation that WebRTC conferencing works from the open internet.

Key points you should know before starting:
• Operating system: Linux, specifically Ubuntu
• HTTPS: I’d like to use the Certbot routine bundled with PlugNMeet so that the dashboard and all media traffic run over SSL.

What I expect when you’re done:
1. PlugNMeet installed and running as a system service.
2. Valid Let’s Encrypt certificate obtained through the included Certbot flow and auto-renewal scheduled.
3. Any required firewall rules or NAT/STUN settings in place so that video and audio connect flawlessly behind common routers.
4. A brief note explaining where configs live and how to update them.

Once those checks pass, I’ll take it from there for rooms, users, and branding.
