One-on-One Multimedia Chat Module
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m integrating a real-time chat feature into my app and need a developer who can deliver a smooth, one-on-one experience that covers every modern channel—text, voice, and video. Group rooms aren’t part of the roadmap, so your energy can stay focused on perfecting individual conversations instead of juggling multiple-user logic.
Users must be able to share files of any common type (images, PDFs, short clips, etc.) straight inside the thread, with previews where possible. I’m aiming for instant delivery and receipt indicators, low-latency voice and video (WebRTC or a comparable solution is fine), and message storage that keeps histories synced across devices.
To keep expectations crystal clear, here’s what I’ll review before signing off:
• A plug-and-play chat module (React, Flutter, native—your choice) wired to a scalable real-time backend such as Socket.io, Firebase, or a similar stack.
• Voice and video calls that initialise in under two seconds on a typical 4G connection, maintain stable streams, and fall back gracefully if bandwidth drops.
• File upload and download capped at 20 MB per item, with progress feedback and local caching.
• Read receipts, typing indicators, and reconnection handling fully tested.
• Concise setup documentation so I can reproduce your build and run unit or integration tests on my side.
If you’ve already shipped something similar, even better—let me see it. Otherwise, outline your preferred tech stack and timeline, and let’s get this rolling.
