Fix LiveKit Stream Dropouts
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
WebRTC / LiveKit Debug & Fix
We run DarkBunny, a platform with a LiveKit-powered livestream. It works flawlessly at startup… until mid-session. Somewhere in the middle of a show, the connection drops for all participants (desktop + mobile).
* The backend stays alive.
* But WebRTC tracks detach, and reconnect attempts just loop endlessly until viewers refresh.
* This kills the flow—and we need it fixed.
We’re looking for a freelancer already comfortable with LiveKit’s client SDK + SFU server, who can reproduce the dropout, trace the root cause, and deliver a rock-solid patch.
Deliverables :
* A working branch (client and/or server) where streams remain connected for 120+ minutes without drops, across desktop and mobile.
* Clear documentation: what caused the failure + how you resolved it, so our dev team can maintain it.
Preferred Skills / Tools
* LiveKit client + server experience (must-have)
* Debugging with:
* Chrome `webrtc-internals`
* Wireshark / packet sniffers
* LiveKit’s built-in room inspector
* Strong grasp of TURN / ICE configuration and WebRTC signaling
Why Work With Us :
We move fast. If you find and fix the issue, your patch gets shipped straight to production.
---->Fast payment on delivery. Bonus if you stabilize performance beyond spec.
