Office.js Excel-Word Add-in Development

The project is a cross-suite Office.js solution developed in TypeScript and React, targeting both Excel and Word. It is focused on financial reporting automation with exact formatting fidelity.
Excel Add-in
Manage named ranges, prevent duplicates, and map them to Word bookmarks.
Support reliable Excel → Word data transfer while preserving formatting (tables, fonts, spacing).
Provide a task pane for range mapping, metadata handling, and batch updates.
Offer customisable layouts (e.g., SOI, NAV, disclosures) and options for column widths, subtotals, and alignment.
Word Add-in
Provide branded, reusable templates with building blocks (financial notes, disclosures, etc.) searchable from the task pane.
Include a compact toolbar for inserting headings (H1–H5), field codes, TOCs, and content placeholders.
Automate page breaks with “(continued)” headings and repeated table headers.
Support logs/audit trail of inserted and updated content.
Translate the designs and specs into clean, maintainable TypeScript + React code.
Integrate with Excel and Word APIs (ExcelApi 1.13+ preferred, degrade gracefully to 1.1).
Package solution with Webpack or Vite for Microsoft 365 centralised deployment.
