Role Summary:
As our Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the next iteration of our online marketplace using React, Node, and Typescript. We're searching for an innovative and product-focused engineer who possesses a strong sense of curiosity about our business and customers. You will be integral to the decision-making process, helping to influence our product & technology roadmap, and be accountable for the implementation of solutions from end-to-end.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage end-to-end web application features using React, Node, and Typescript.
- Contribute to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of our product features.
- Collaborate closely with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Influence and contribute to architectural decisions and design, as well as development and deployment methodologies.
- Write clean, readable, and testable code that adheres to best practices and promotes scalability and maintainability.
- Identify, debug, and resolve software bugs and bottlenecks to ensure optimal application performance.
- Maintain a high awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to stay updated and competitive.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members when needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full stack development with a focus on React, Node, and Typescript.
- Strong understanding of modern frontend and backend frameworks and libraries.
- Solid experience in developing responsive web applications and managing databases.
- Proficient in version control tools, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a startup environment.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team.
- Understanding of agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools.
