Manual QA for HR WebApp
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’ve just wrapped up development on a browser-based HR tech platform that serves three roles—Candidates, Employers and Administrators—and I want a fresh set of eyes to make sure every path works exactly as intended before we go live.
What you’ll be doing
• Work through real-world scenarios for each role: upload résumés and confirm parsing accuracy, run job searches and check the relevance of results, post job specs and verify the matching engine.
• Exercise the product on Google Chrome and Safari, then repeat any edge-case issues on mobile and desktop builds.
• Log every defect with clear repro steps, screenshots or short clips, plus the expected vs. actual behaviour so my developers can fix things fast.
• Re-test every ticket after a patch is pushed and close the loop only when the fix holds.
Deliverables
1. A concise test plan covering Candidate, Employer and Admin journeys.
2. A living bug tracker (JIRA, Spreadsheet or similar) containing issue descriptions, severity, environment and evidence.
3. A final sign-off report confirming all critical paths pass on Chrome and Safari across desktop and mobile.
If you have prior QA experience—or better yet, you’ve poked around recruiting or HR products—that’s a bonus, but what really matters is meticulous attention to detail and crystal-clear written English. Let me know when you can start and how you like to structure your testing cycles; I’m ready to hand over staging credentials right away.
