Manual Website QA & UX Testing

Job ID: 40497342

Budget: $10 – $50 USD

I need a fresh pair of eyes to run a one-time, end-to-end test of my new social-oriented website before launch. The goal is to test the app’s main user journeys, identify functional bugs, and provide practical UX feedback on confusing flows, unclear wording, layout issues, and anything that feels unfinished. The site is fully deployed on a staging URL; accounts can be created freely and all core features are live.

Please test the following areas:
- Account registration, email confirmation, login, logout, and password reset.
- Onboarding and profile completion.
- Creating, editing, and deleting trips.
- Making a trip visible on the Explore page by completing the required profile/trip conditions.
- Explore page cards, filters, sorting, saved trips, and interested trips.
- Public profile pages and public calendars.
- Following users, messaging users, blocking users, and reporting events.
- In-app notifications.
- Private trip visibility, including followers-only and custom list visibility where available.
- Membership restrictions and upgrade prompts.
- Optional: Stripe test membership upgrade flow.
- Optional: Stripe Identity test verification flow.

In addition to bugs, please comment on:
- Any confusing or unclear steps.
- Missing guidance or poor error messages.
- Layout issues on desktop/mobile.
- Slow-loading areas or awkward transitions.
- Whether the onboarding and trip creation flows feel intuitive.
- Whether the Explore/social features are easy to understand.
- Any wording or labels that feel unclear.

Please provide:
- A short summary of overall app quality.
- A list of bugs with steps to reproduce, expected result, actual result, screenshots/video where useful, and severity.
- A list of UX issues or improvement suggestions.
- Browsers/devices tested.
- Any blockers that prevented testing specific areas.

No performance benchmarking is required—just your detailed human perspective on how the site works and feels. I will provide the staging link as soon as bidding is concluded. Ideally, I’d like the full report within 1-2 weeks from hire start.
