Technical QA Engineer – Functional Testing and Platform Validation

Project Overview

We are looking for a technical QA engineer to perform a structured validation of an existing web platform.

The system is already operational and includes user interfaces, internal dashboards, transactional flows, and administrative controls.

The objective of this work is to ensure that the platform behaves consistently, that the main user flows function correctly, and that the server environment is operating as expected.

This role involves both functional testing and technical validation of the application environment.

Scope of Work

The QA engineer will perform a validation covering the following areas.

Functional Testing

The QA must validate the main platform features including:

• account creation and login flows
• session behavior and authentication
• profile management
• dashboard navigation
• system permissions and access control
• administrative actions
• interaction flows between different parts of the platform

All critical flows must be tested end-to-end.

Role-Based Testing

The platform contains multiple user roles.

The QA must test the system behavior across different roles and confirm that permissions and access control behave correctly.

Transaction and System Logic Validation

The QA must verify that system transactions and internal state changes behave correctly, including:

• balance or record updates
• transaction records
• activation of features
• expiration or state transitions
• prevention of unauthorized actions

Interface and User Interaction Review

The QA must review the interface behavior including:

• page transitions
• navigation clarity
• layout behavior across pages
• interaction feedback

The objective is to confirm that the interface behaves consistently and logically.

Server Environment Validation

The platform runs in a Linux server environment (Ubuntu).

The QA must perform a basic validation of the server environment to confirm that backend services are operating correctly.

This includes verifying:

• web server operation
• background services and workers
• scheduled tasks
• caching services
• application logs and error logs
• general server response behavior

The objective is not to perform DevOps work, but to confirm that the environment supporting the application is functioning correctly.

Deliverables

The QA engineer must provide:

• structured QA report
• list of validated features
• list of detected issues
• severity classification of each issue
• steps to reproduce problems
• screenshots or recordings where necessary

The QA must also provide short videos demonstrating the main system flows working end-to-end.
