First, my current forum has been compromised, so your first task is a full malware sweep: remove malicious files, backdoors, database injections—everything that could let an attacker back in. I will provide cPanel (or SSH) and database credentials so you can run your preferred security tools and manually verify the cleanup.
When the installation is clean, export only the forum structure and topics—no user accounts—and import them into a fresh phpBB build in /forums on a different site. Please set it up with the latest stable phpBB release.
For the look and feel, I already decided on the Carbon 2 style (https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/style/carbon_2/). Install, confirm all core functions are rendered correctly after the migration.
