Web Application Security Expert Needed
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m urgently seeking a seasoned security professional who specializes in JavaScript web application security.
The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of how to secure web applications against threats like data breaches, injection attacks and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). Your role would entail reviewing the existing code, spotting vulnerabilities, and implementing best practices to rectify them.
Skills & Experience:
Triage (including validation) of Crowd Sourced Bug Bounty identified vulnerabilities and assign tickets to appropriate teams across Customer’s regional entities.
Deliver remediation guidance to Developers and System Engineers.
Perform SAST, SCA and OSS source code analysis and review of security vulnerabilities.
Create metrics and reports regarding status and payments relating to vulnerabilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Expertise.
Ability to effectively communicate with Developers and System Engineers.
Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
Knowledge and experience utilizing Burpsuite professional (experience with the setup and use of Burpsuite Enterprise preferred).
General security knowledge and ability to remain up to date on Appsec security trends. Ability to apply generalized security knowledge to allow for the review/modification/creation of security related documentation.
Prior experience as Application Security Engineer and experience in working cross development platforms teams.
Preferred – Familiarity with HackerOne/Bugrowd triage process or similar platforms.
Preferred – Development experience in Java, Python and PHP.
Preferred – Strong knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud platforms and security concepts including containerizatio
