Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Virtual Website Server Manager to handle the infrastructure, performance, and security of our entire web portfolio. You’ll also help create new websites and landing pages as needed. Strong communication skills and high energy are essential, as you’ll be working remotely with a global team.
Key Responsibilities:
Server Management: Set up, configure, and maintain web servers for top performance and security.
Website Creation: Design and launch new websites and landing pages.
Performance Monitoring: Use tools to monitor uptime and optimize load handling.
Security: Apply best practices to protect against threats and ensure compliance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix server or performance issues.
Automation: Use scripts to automate updates, backups, and deployments.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers and designers.
Clear Communication: Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates.
Positive Energy: Contribute to a productive, enthusiastic remote team culture.
Required Skills:
Experience managing multiple websites and servers
Proficient with Apache, Nginx, or similar server tech
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL
Experience with monitoring and performance tools
Security and compliance best practices
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
Strong verbal communication and high energy are a must
Preferred:
Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
Familiarity with CMS (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal)
Knowledge of Git or other version control
Scripting/automation experience
