I'm seeking a highly skilled Network Optimization Expert with extensive experience in cloud networking, routing, and performance enhancements to optimize the network path for our trading bot. The bot operates between one server and a trading platform, requiring minimal latency for optimal performance (100-200ms). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, global network architecture, and experience with CDN and VPN technologies.We are seeking a highly skilled Network Optimization Expert with extensive experience in cloud networking, routing, and performance enhancements to optimize the network path for our trading bot.
Key Requirements:
- Analyze the current network path between an AWS region, a social media's data centers, and trading platform servers to identify latency bottlenecks.
- Propose and implement solutions to minimize latency, considering the geographical distribution of a social media's data centers and a trading platforms server locations.
- Explore and implement AWS Global Accelerator or similar technologies to improve network performance.
- Configure and optimize VPN or direct cloud interconnect solutions to establish more efficient routing paths.
- Setup, configure, and manage multi-region deployments for the trading bot to optimize interactions with both the social media and trading platform's servers.
- Employ network monitoring tools to continually assess performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Document the network architecture, changes made, and provide guidelines for maintaining optimized network paths.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in network optimization, particularly with AWS cloud services.
- Deep understanding of global networking concepts, including anycast, peering, and the use of CDNs.
- Experience with network performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of VPN technologies and cloud interconnect services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and recommendations.
