Cyber Security Expert

Job Description:

We are currently experiencing a DDoS attack on our website, and we need an expert to stop the attack and ensure robust security for future incidents. Our site is protected by Cloudflare and Imunify360, but the attack persists. We require immediate action and a long-term security plan.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and mitigate the ongoing DDoS attack.
Optimize Cloudflare and Imunify360 configurations to ensure maximum protection.
Implement additional security measures, including fine-tuning firewall rules, rate-limiting, bot management, and Geo-blocking.
Ensure the origin server IP is fully protected to prevent Cloudflare bypass.
Provide recommendations and implement solutions for future attack prevention.
Perform a full security audit and harden server settings.
Skills Required:

Strong experience in DDoS mitigation techniques (Layer 3, 4, and 7 attacks).
Expertise in Cloudflare and Imunify360 configurations and management.
In-depth knowledge of firewall and web application security.
Ability to monitor, log, and analyze traffic for suspicious patterns.
Experience with bot management and rate-limiting.
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
Deliverables:

DDoS attack fully mitigated.
Optimized and secured Cloudflare and Imunify360 setups.
Detailed report on actions taken and future recommendations for security.
